Ireland's oldest pub is now under new management. during Covid restrictions a TAKEAWAY SERVICE is available. Directors Debbie Walsh and Brian Barry Took over the lease of this Trademark and iconic building in June 2017. Both being local and aware of the history associated with it, they were very conscious of the tradition and unique selling points the building had to offer but both wanted to bring back that familiarity and buzz that has been associated in the village and this building in particular going back as far as the 1600’s. Behind the pub you will find the amazing Glenbower Woods and next tot the pub is a beautiful waterside Beer Garden.
