Glenbower Woods, Killeagh

There are several trails, each colour coded within the woods.The woods are magical with a beautiful light coming from the bluebells. You may discover strange and wonderful sights - a dried lake basin from which flowed the water to power the mill below, a medieval road, an early Christian baptismal area, vestiges of the Great Famine. The entrance is behind the Old Thatch pub in Killeagh where is ample car parking.
