Xplore Clonakilty enjoys fantastic launch day in the West Cork town

The highly anticipated Xplore Clonakilty app and website launched yesterday in the West Cork town at The Waterfront, with Clonakilty Chamber of Commerce Chairperson Orla O’Donovan, Mayor Anthony McDermott and local retailers Oonagh Croke and Michelle Mitton in attendance.

As Clonakilty welcomes tourists in their numbers, the new app is set to enhance the visitor experience.

Chamber’s Chairperson Orla O’Donovan said that the App project team have been working tirelessly with Xplore over the past number of months to get the app ready for release. She says:

'The Chamber has been very anxious to set up a town App and in particular an App with a digital voucher package. We already have a very successful Clonakilty Voucher Scheme operating since 2013, but we wanted to bring it into the digital era. This new digital voucher feature on the Clonakilty App will complement our present voucher scheme beautifully. Vouchers can now be purchased online.'

Many congratulations to Clonakilty Chamber of Commerce on the successful launch of the app and their move to our Xplore Voucher system. We look forward to a continued partnership with the town as they build on their new digital infrastructure, attract new visitors, engage the local community, and use the app to capture new revenues.
