Here's what Xplore got up to in 2021

We've had an incredible year here at Xplore thanks to everyone who came on board or helped us spread the word. 

From the foot of the Blackstairs Mountains to the shores of Lough Derg, we welcomed 9 new towns to our network in 2021, including two from the Kingdom (Tralee, Killarney), four from the Rebel County (Clonakilty, Cobh, Youghal, Midleton) one from the South-East (Bagenelstown) and two from the Wesht (Portumna, Gort). 

Here's what else we got up to:

• Saw Fermoy & Tralee win a combined €10,000 at the .IE Digital Town Awards for the way they used the Xplore Local app to digitise their towns.
• Saw Tralee win Best Digital Marketing Campaign at the Chamber Awards for the way they promoted their town using our infrastructure.
• Made a range of updates and improvements to the look, feel, function, and speed of the Xplore Local App and website.  
• Shared the amazing stories of over a dozen local enterprises and organisations on our platform. 
• Partnered with some great local businesses to give away a few class prizes. 

We're looking forward to doing much more of this in the coming year, as well as welcoming more towns to our network and taking on more exciting projects. Go raibh míle maith agaibh to everyone who supported or got involved with us over the past 12 months - despite lockdowns and all the rest, we had some craic!
