Indeed we do especially when it’s Yummy’s ice cream which, we’re delighted to say, is now a thing so check out their new ice cream parlour on Dominic Street! You’re in for a treat. Sample the most delicious Irish dairy Ice-cream imaginable, served with home-baked Cookie Sandwiches, sweet Spanish Churros, and tasty Belgian Waffles. 99s, you’re just not trying! And the new, luscious, rain forest themed decor isn’t just lip-service. The green ideals carry right through to the sustainable packaging, the locally-sourced produce and in-house homemade creations.

The parlour is open Thursday to Sunday throughout the year, with plans to open 7 days-a-week during school holidays, so parents: take note, this will definitely be destination spot for the kids. And if dairy isn’t your thing, no worries. They also offer a range of dairy-free ice cream and sorbets along with an incredible variety interesting and traditional flavours.&nbsp;

Owner/manager Emer Tobin says “We plan on having some fun with our weekly specials, letting the creative team here come up with their own concepts. And like everything we do, we want to offer a great experience to our customers. We are conscious that we took out a section of seating to make room for the parlour, but we have plans to develop a revised layout including a brand-new snug which we know will be welcomed by our loyal regulars”
Now in its ninth year on Dominic Street, Yummy Café is practically an institution earning numerous awards along the way, not to mention it’s much coveted place on the official list of Top Family Restaurant in Ireland.
