Here at Tralee Chamber Alliance, we just love the glow of twinkling lights. It brings out the festive cheer in all of us. So, we are delighted and excited to announce that there are only two sleeps to go before the town is transformed into a magical winter wonderland. Mayor Mike Sheehy will do the honours, flicking the switch on the Christmas Lights in The Square on Saturday 26th November at 5pm. When you look up and see strings of little diamonds stretching across from roof to roof, you know the Yuletide season has officially begun.&nbsp;
If you fancy a little warm-up act to the main event, be in The Square for 2.30pm to enjoy a buzzy set of Festive Jazz with Dave Rath followed by the unmissable Oliver Hurley School of Musical Theatre’s Senior Choir singing a heart-warming selection of traditional Christmas carols at 3.30pm.&nbsp;&nbsp;
At 4 o clock, there’s Santa Claus, the Show, a short theatrical piece to delight and entertain the children and then at 4.30pm, it’s Disco Time for the kids with DJ Brian Hurley ably assisted by some well-known animated characters. And, because he loves Kerry so much, the main man himself will be sledging in from the North Pole to make an appearance. Ho, ho, ho, Santa Claus!
Speaking of the main man, these Chamber members are all taking bookings to see him this year but places are filling up fast so don’t delay: Kelleher’s Hardware, Gally’s Bar &amp; Restaurant, The County Museum, Ballyseedy Home &amp; Garden Centre, The Pamper Parlour and Sandy Feet Farm.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
