If there’s one thing we do well in Tralee, it’s hospitality. With an amazing selection of guest houses and luxury 4 star hotels, the Tralee tourism industry operates as one of the best in the country. To prove it, Tralee’s Manor West Hotel has been announced as a finalist in the category of Ireland’s Family Friendly Hotel in the 2021 Hotel &amp; Catering Gold Medal Awards. Well done to everyone involved but it’s little wonder; just look at those adorable bunk beds.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Ruth O’Sullivan, General Manager at Manor West Hotel says, ‘We are delighted to be a finalist in the Family Friendly Hotel category, it’s testament to the service of every team member and the facilities at the hotel.’
A nod from The Hotel &amp; Catering Gold Medal Awards is a big deal. The programme has been going for 32 years and is recognised as the leading independent awards ceremony for the hospitality industry in Ireland.

Judged by industry experts, the Gold Medal Awards only recognise and reward excellence. The award is designed to applaud hotels, restaurants, guest houses, spa and leisure facilities, and all kinds of caterers. We’ll be keeping everything crossed!
The category winners will be announced on Tuesday 22 March at The Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny. Anyone interest in going along can book their tickets online.
