Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park is situated on the canal and on the estuary of Tralee Bay. This wonderful nature sanctuary has lovely walks around its lakeside and wild gardens for everyone to enjoy. At Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park, under the Slieve Mish Mountain Range and within sight of Tralee Bay, you will meet ecologists and guides who will introduce you to the wildlife around you, whilst hearing about the natural history and folklore of Kerry. This natural landscape, with special areas of conservation, will enrich your holiday and you will look at the world around you with a greater sense of awe and appreciation. Be it the simplicity and beauty of the Curlew’s cry or the lifelong love affair of swans, you will be enthralled. Learn about herbs, natural gardens, flora and fauna, trees, pond life and bird life. Enjoy the many tours and activities such as Guided Safari Boat Tours, pond dipping sessions, learning to climb, pedal boating, water zorbing or just sit and read a book in the family run Lakeside Café. Take a lovely walk through our lovely Nádúr Éiru Nature Trail. Tralee Municipal Council, with Kerry County Council and Fáilte Ireland, helped create this wonderful space for everyone to enjoy. This was a vision, in many ways before its time, as its creation has enabled people to see first-hand the joys of nature. In the heart of ‘the Kingdom’ you will truly appreciate how lucky we all are to reside on this planet with so many wonderful beings. Tralee Bay Wetlands Ecology & Activity Park and our friends and colleagues in The Lakeside Café look forward to welcoming you and promise you stories and an experience that will stay with you always. All Guided Nature Tours & Activities are seasonal and weather permitting.
