The Square

The Town Square is a large open area in the centre of a Tralee surrounded by shops and cafés.The Square is always buzzing as locals and tourists grab a bite to eat or simply sit in the sun and soak in the atmosphere particularly during the market days. It’s also a good place for some retail therapy. The Square is magical during Christmas particularly when the outdoor lights and the Christmas tree lights are switched on. It’s a hub of activity during the Rose Festival and Food festival with entertainment and colourful stalls to please all. The square is where all the main events and concerts take place. Stalls and markets from all over the world and locally come together to offer a wide selection of goods, crafts and food that are available for both locals and visitors to enjoy.
