Day Place is Tralee’s earliest Georgian terrace, built by Justice Robert Day at the turn of the nineteenth century. It was the first time in the town’s history that a terrace of this design calibre was constructed. Day Place was built at a time of social and cultural change in Tralee and was home to the town’s gentry and their families, with carriage houses fronting onto Friars Lane.
