Coolbawn Quay is in an area of special Conservation and enjoys an idyllic lakeshore location with an abundance of wildlife. For the duration of your stay you will experience all that nature has to offer: the splendor of the countryside; the restorative powers of the lake; the velvet air; and togetherness in total privacy. They offer an ‘in house’ dining and bar service available for collection or delivery to your door. To avoid disappointment in your choice of menu options and selection of wines, pre-ordering is required 24 hours in advance. They also offer further services such as Newspaper delivery and limited wellness treatments. Reservations for the Restaurant and for casual dining in the Bar are required to be made 24 hours in advance, again, to avoid disappointment. A natural spring deep beneath the Village is our water source. After years of filtration this pure natural spring water arrives to your room with the message ‘drink me’. As it’s all about escape and enjoying the great outdoors, they do not have TVs in the cottages. They do, however, have a limited number of screens with DVD players available if required. The unique location with private access to the lake is ideal for an array of water-based activities: fishing, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. Check out ‘things to do’ for further details. As a safety measure, children under twelve must be supervised at all times due to the proximity of the Village to the lake.
