<h3>Christmas has well and truly arrived in Midleton following the switching on of the festive lights last Friday!</h3>
<p>There's loads going on this season in the town and that includes the annual craft and vintage fair set to be held at My Place Community Centre this Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th.&nbsp;</p>
<p>With everything from handmade birdhouses and upcycled antiques to paintings and cosy knits, it's a great opportunity to pick up some very unique Christmas gifts and meet others in the community.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Food traders Fresh Donuts and Happy Days will also be on-site to offer up some delicious, freshly-made sandwiches and treats.</p>
<p>Organisers will also be selling raffle tickets at reception on the day for €2 a piece or 3 for €5. There are quite a few prizes to be won, including a €100 Supervalu voucher and hampers - more info over on their <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/255280583118777?active_tab=about" target="_self">Facebook event page</a>.</p>

<h2>Midleton &amp; Area Chamber Prize Draw</h2>
<p>Meanwhile, Midleton &amp; Area Chamber have just kicked off their prize draw campaign in collaboration with local businesses. It's all about shopping local this festive season and entrants must spend at least €20 at a participating local business for a chance to win. Tickets can be filled out on their premises.&nbsp;</p>
<p>1st prize €1000, 2nd prize €500, 3rd prize €300. The prize is made up of varying local vouchers. Draw takes place on January 4th.&nbsp;</p>
