<h3>They&#8217;ve spent the week bribing, sweet talking and pleading &#8211; but it still remains to be seen who&#8217;ll get &#8216;The Bono Bit&#8217; in a school charity song.</h3>
Not only is it the staff of St Oliver&#8217;s National School who are fighting over a prestigious musical part in Band Aid&#8217;s &#8216;Do They Know It&#8217;s Christmas Time&#8217; &#8211; but Oscar nominated actor Michael Fassbender and Best Irish Male Singer Paddy Casey &#8211; are all in it to win it too.
 Everyone wants to be the star but only one can have the part &#8211; and all will be revealed today (Friday) when part two of a comedy sketch is released by St Oliver&#8217;s on their YouTube channel.
 Teacher Noel O&#8217;Sullivan, who is an accomplished musician, teamed up with Principal Colm &Oacute;&#8217;Suilleabh&aacute;in, and Ois&iacute;n O&rsquo;Connor, son of well known local musician Liam. They made a comedy sketch to raise awareness about the charity song and so far it has almost 2,500 views in just three days online.
 &#8220;The reaction has been great,&#8221; Noel told the Killarney Advertiser.
 &#8220;Ois&iacute;n O&#8217;Connor suggested to me we do a cover of Band Aid after the success of the Hallowe&#8217;en video we made. When I proposed the idea to staff, a few joked about the Bono line. I just thought it would be funny to make a comedy sketch based on that. Luckily, it coincided with Paddy Casey and Michael Fassbender popping into St Oliver&#8217;s, so we made hay while we could!&#8221;
 He said that the staff were &#8220;equally creative&#8221; adding their ideas to the original basic idea and it developed into the entertaining two part series!
 &#8220;Colm was very supportive and proved, like the other staff who featured, to have considerable talent in the acting department! Musically, I always love including as many as possible so I was delighted to have about 23 staff involved in the solos and instrumentals, with about 60 staff singing in the chorus. Our hope is for people to donate to the Concern Horn of Africa Crisis appeal.&#8221;
 All that remains now is to find out who made the cut!
