<h3>Killarney Credit Union has thanked Board Directors and Board Oversight Committee Members who have retired in the last couple of years.</h3>
In the absence of these events in recent years it was fitting that these people were recognised for their work and dedication to Killarney Credit Union.
 Dermot Griffin, Ted Leizcyneski, Caragh Neeson and Michael O&rsquo;Brien were honoured and thanked for their valuable contributions of time and expertise during their respective volunteering roles with Killarney Credit Union.
 Volunteers are at the heart of every Credit Union. The Credit Union movement started out with volunteers and it is with the work of these volunteers that Credit Unions in Ireland continue to grow.
 During her speech Killarney Credit Union Chairperson, Joy Clifford-Vaughan thanked each of the retirees individually.
 &#8220;Credit unions are member owned not-for-profit democratic financial cooperatives. Credit unions exist to serve members who govern and lead their own credit unions. On behalf of the Board of Directors, management, staff and members, I would like to thank you all for each and every hour that you gave of your time to Killarney Credit Union,&#8221; she said.
