Killarney

<h3>It was the day hundreds of nervous&nbsp;and excited Killarney students waited for&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;Leaving Cert results &#8211; and some had a special guest with Education Minister Norma Foley there for support.</h3>
The Kerry TD visited five secondary schools this morning (Friday), first Killarney Community College where she congratulated students on their achievements.
Student George Turchkenko from Ukraine and principal Stella Loughnane welcomed the Minister on her first stop. Students eagerly awaited the clock turning to 10am to open their results online.
One happy student was Robin Smith who secured the required points for a place at Trinity College Dublin.
Then it was off to St Brendan&rsquo;s College at 10.30am where she met students, followed by a stop off at St Brigid&rsquo;s Presentation.
Then she made her way to Killorglin Community College, Killorglin Intermediate School and Presentation Secondary School Milltown.
