<h3>A local business has been shortlisted for an award labelled&nbsp;&lsquo;the Oscars of the Independent Accommodation Sector&rsquo;.</h3>
This evening (Thursday), the Tatler Jack will find out if they have won the &#8216;Outstanding Host&#8217; award at the&nbsp;eviivo&nbsp;awards evening and could potentially win&nbsp;&pound;1,000&nbsp;towards their property.
The Tatler Jack Accommodation, Bar &amp; Restaurant in Killarney, is a family run business, famous for its warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.
The awards event&nbsp;is part of the International Week of the Host from March 21st &#8211; 25 and honours&nbsp;the finest hosts in the&nbsp;independent hospitality industry.
The Tatler Jack&nbsp;will compete against four&nbsp;other properties around the UK and Ireland to take the crown.
&ldquo;The feedback we get back is rewarding in its own right but an official award would be the icing on the cake!&#8221; David Looney, General Manager&nbsp;at Tatler Jack said.
&#8220;The team here is trained on following my lead to ensure our guests want for nothing and they do a great job.&rdquo;&nbsp;
Tatler Jack owner Patrick O&#8217;Sullivan added that he&#8217;s delighted the business has been nominated.
&#8220;I want to thank all our staff and David Looney for all his hard work. It&#8217;s nice to be recognised.&#8221;
Everyone shortlisted will receive a special plaque to mark the occasion and recognise the quality of service they provide.&#8239;&#8239;&nbsp;
