<h3>One of the country&#8217;s top musicians, Killarney man Liam O&rsquo;Connor, is set for an appearance on tonight&rsquo;s Late Late Show &#8211; which will set a unique record for the local accordion legend.</h3>
Earlier this month Liam and his family Saoirse, Oisin and Cillian recorded a new single with Moya Brennan of &lsquo;Clannad&rsquo; fame.
Now the O&rsquo;Connor and Brennan families have been invited to perform &lsquo;Strong in Numbers&rsquo; live on tonight&rsquo;s RT&Eacute; One show.
It will be Liam&#8217;s seventh appearance on the national broadcaster&rsquo;s flagship programme &ndash; the longest running TV chat show in the world.
In the past he has worked with Gay Byrne and Pat Kenny, but this week&rsquo;s show will mark his first time working with current presenter Ryan Tubridy meaning by the time The Late Late Show airs tonight he will have worked with all three of the show&#8217;s presenters.
&ldquo;I am sure other people have done it,&rdquo; the world renowned accordion player told the Killarney Advertiser. &ldquo;But it is a nice thing for me.&rdquo;
He and his family, along with members of Clannad, were due to spend this morning (Friday) rehearsing for the show.
Other guests include Hollywood actor Ruth Negga, supermodel Rosanna Davison and former international soccer star Peter Schmeichel. Musical guests include Mick Flannery who has connections to Ballyhar and Susan O&#8217;Neill singing a duet called &lsquo;Are We Free&rsquo;, as well as Kodaline&rsquo;s Steve Garrigan.
