<h3>Three local students were thrilled to receive news that their European project placed third.</h3>
<p>Ali O&#8217;Donoghue, Eil&iacute;s Mullane and Avril Ahern from St Brigid&#8217;s Secondary School took part in The European Charlemagne Youth Prize. This competition is organised by the European Parliament and the International Charlemagne Prize Foundation in Aachen. The prize is aimed at those who are aged between 16 and 30 and working on a project with a European dimension.</p>
<p> &#8220;We decided to enter this competition with our project &#8211; &#8216;EU4US &ndash; A learning module for Primary and Secondary School Students&#8217;. We were absolutely delighted to learn that our project was placed 3rd in this prestigious, national event,&#8221; Ali O&#8217; Donoghue, a member of the group, said.</p>
