<h3>One of Killarney&rsquo;s newest businesses is offering&nbsp;Ring of Kerry Cycle participants a great deal to help prepare them for the event.</h3>

<p>&#8220;It is important that people listen to their body during this training period and make sure they are giving their body adequate time to recover so that they stay injury free. Depending on your level of fitness and the training you have already banked, the number of rest days a person will need can vary, but a general rule of thumb is to allow your body 48 hours to recover.</p>
<p>&ldquo;In the 24 to 48 hours after a tough workout you will feel the effects of DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). This comes from tiny, microscopic tears in your muscle fibres. Your body responds to this damage by increasing inflammation and this restricts your ability to get back out and train.</p>
<p>&#8220;Getting in to Reboot Recovery the day after a tough session can help reduce the effects of DOMS and will allow you to recover and get back out on that bike faster. A few recovery sessions with Reboot, coupled with good sleep, diet and hydration will ensure you are adequately recovering in the lead up to the cycle.</p>
