<h3>It was an exciting week for the pupils of Loughquittane National School as they learned the importance of helping others less fortunate.</h3>
<p>The children were delighted to again this year participate in the annual Team Hope Shoebox appeal.</p>
<p> &#8220;We filled nearly 70 shoeboxes with treats, toys and presents for children who are less fortunate than ourselves,&#8221; Sixth Class Teacher, John O&#8217;Donoghue, said.</p>
<p> &#8220;It serves as a great reminder of global citizenship, that we all share the same world and that by random circumstance of birth, some are less well off than we are.&#8221;</p>
