<h3>Literacy was brought to life in Loughquittane NS for World Book Day recently as children dressed up in their favourite characters.</h3>
<p>They had a fantastic day bringing their favourite literary characters to life and it really helped foster a spirit of reading within the school,&#8221; teacher John O&#8217;Donoghue said.</p>
<p>&#8220;Classes spent the day both reading, and equally as importantly, listening to stories being read aloud. It is one of our favourite days of the school calendar and we can&#8217;t wait for next year already!&#8221;</p>
