<h3>The novice category winners in the Killarney Camera Club January &lsquo;23 Monochrome themed competition have been announced.</h3>
First place went to Katie Angland who also won the Unrestricted Category with her beguiling photo of the horse &#8216;Diamond Fusion&#8217; as seen in the Killarney Advertiser last week, second place was won by Eamon Fleming &#8216;Malaga&#8217;, and third place went to MaryAnn Heidtke for her image &#8216;StillLife&#8217;.
 Eamon Fleming&rsquo;s photo was taken in Malaga in September.
 &ldquo;The building was an ideal monochrome shot with its clean lines and intricate mosaics,&#8221; he said.
 &#8220;I took shots from different angles but considered this to be my best one. I was using a Fuji XT3 with an 18-55 lens and the camera settings were f/4 at 1/400 second.&rdquo;

 &#8220;The club continues to meet fortnightly on Thursday via the Zoom online platform but we now have resumed a monthly Thursday meeting in The Brehon Hotel, Killarney,&#8221; Deirdre Donohue, PRO with Killarney Camera Club, said. &#8220;New members are always welcome and for any further details, please email secretary@killarneycameraclub.ie.&#8221;
