<h3>Minister for Education and Kerry TD Norma Foley welcomes today&rsquo;s announcement of &euro;3.45 million in Transformation Funding for Munster Technological University (MTU).</h3>
<p>This tranche of funding will be used by MTU in key areas such as digital infrastructure, building capacity in research, and in improving governance and systems integration.</p>
<p>&ldquo;This vital investment will ensure that MTU continues to expand key research projects and invest in new digital technologies, providing a state-of-the-art, third level experience for students,&#8221; Minister Foley said.</p>
<p>&ldquo;The funding underlines Government&rsquo;s continued commitment to investing in the higher education sector and provides Technological Universities like MTU with the financial capacity to modernise and grow.&rdquo;</p>
