The lower Park Road shopping centre has been on the market for the last five years by Green Property, the company that developed the site in 1998.
Dublin-based property adviser CBRE handled the sale but the new owners have not been revealed.
The sale comes in the same week that anchor tenant Nike left the centre. The American sport’s retailer was one of the centre’s longest serving tenants and the closure of the shop this week will result in the loss of around 20 jobs.
Centre management declined to comment on the sale saying it was a matter for the new owners and that their role was to manage the centre regardless of who owned it.
Other major retailers based at the centre include the Kerry GAA Store and Costa Coffee.
Bus Eireann’s Killarney depot is based at the shopping centre and the bus terminal includes a privately operated café.
