<h3>Two new tourism Apps &#8211;&nbsp;a digital treasure hunt and a family&nbsp;interactive experience &#8211;&nbsp;will be launched in Killarney on Friday.</h3>
<p>The Apps have been developed by Kerry County Council and local stakeholders to provide an interactive experience for users at some of Kerry&rsquo;s best-known amenities and tourist attractions.</p>
<p>The new tourism initiative, described as &ldquo;a digital treasure hunt&rdquo; was developed in conjunction with the Kerry Tourism Industry Federation (KTIF) and the RDI Hub in Killorglin &ndash; as revealed by the Killarney Advertiser in July.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&lsquo;Ciar&rsquo;s Quest&rsquo; is a free downloadable App designed as a family interactive experience, which takes visitors and locals on an adventure around Ross Island, and, using Augmented Reality, enables adventurers to meet, learn about, and interact with some of the wildlife of Killarney National Park.</p>
<p>The &lsquo;Kerry Way Digital Companion&rsquo;, on the Imvizar platform, provides fun, facts and folklore through new Augmented Reality experiences at five different sites in the Muckross area of Killarney National Park. It also provides legacy folklore audio for all nine stages of the Kerry Way, previously recorded and digitised by Kerry Folklore and the South Kerry Development Partnership.</p>
