<h3>The story of one of Killarney&rsquo;s favourite sons, Monsignor Hugh O&rsquo;Flaherty, will be told at a special play in the INEC next month.</h3>
&lsquo;God Has No Country&rsquo; is the story of Monsignor Hugh O&rsquo;Flaherty&rsquo;s war time exploits in Rome.
 It will be performed at the INEC on December 21 at 8pm. Last week the Killarney Advertiser revealed that the INEC is to launch a new &lsquo;Culture Club&rsquo;.
 Three different plays will take place between November 28 and December 22 with &lsquo;God Has No Country&rsquo; as the season finale.
 Killarney&rsquo;s own Donal Courtney will perform the one-man play.
 &ldquo;The story is told from the Monsignor&rsquo;s point of view,&rdquo; Donal said. &ldquo;It is a study of the torment and difficulty in the decisions he undertook in his fight for justice. This is re-enacted through the use of storytelling and various characterisations. The play is a dramatisation of actual events, and while careful research has been carried out in its creation, as a dramatic work certain licence has been taken.&rdquo;
