<h3>Killarney Lions Club annual Golf Day will raise funds for Kerry Mountain Rescue and Kerry Cancer Support Group.</h3>
<p>The event, which is one of the longest running charity golf days in Killarney, will take place at O&rsquo;Mahony&#8217;s Point golf course on May 12.</p>
<p> &ldquo;The work that Kerry Cancer Support Group and Kerry Mountain Rescue do is hugely important to our local community, which is why we want to support these two great organisations. I&rsquo;m certain it will be a great day of golf with many fantastic prizes to be won, so I would encourage anyone who enjoys the game to get in touch with us and enter a team,&rdquo; Denis Doolan, President of Killarney Lions Club, said.</p>
<p> The entry fee for a team of four is &euro;320, which includes food and beverages, and tee box sponsorship is &euro;50. Anyone who is interested in taking part or sponsoring a tee box can contact killarneylionsclub@gmail.com for further information.</p>

The funds will go towards the operation of our new wheelchair accessible Cork bus which we hope to have on the road soon,&rdquo; Breda Dyland, manager of Kerry Cancer Support Group, added.</p>
