<h3>Killarney Soroptimist Club have once again banded together to provide a number of hampers for a Kerry charity.</h3>
ADAPT staff, which support hundreds of women and their children every year suffering from domestic violence, were delighted to receive the gifts yesterday (Thursday).
 Killarney Soroptimist Club, together with family and friends, created Christmas hampers for the fourth year in a row.
 &#8220;We are very grateful to all the members in Killarney who have again supported the women and children who use our service,&#8221; Catherine Casey, Manager of ADAPT told the Killarney Advertiser.
 &#8220;The refuge has admitted 65 families so far this year and we have reached out to hundreds more women across Kerry through our Outreach and Court Accompaniment services. This Christmas will bring a lot of challenges for the families we support and it is thoughtful acts such as this, that can make all the difference to women and children who have experienced domestic violence and coercive control.&#8221;
 The Killarney Soroptimist Club Representative, Teresa Irwin, added that they are very happy to donate these Christmas hampers to ADAPT once again this year.
 &#8220;We are thrilled with the response and the generosity of our members,&#8221; she said.
 &#8220;We wish to thank all those that donated. Hopefully the hampers will help lift the spirits of the women who avail of supports and let them know that they are valued and supported.&#8221;
 ADAPT Kerry and the Killarney Soroptimists have built a very good relationship over the last number of years, Catherine added.
 &#8220;There is no doubt that their work raises awareness of our service and has contributed to many more women making contact with us for support by phone, through our outreach service and availing of refuge.
