<h3>Kerry Tourism Industry Federation (KTIF) was out in force at the National Ploughing Championship at Ratheniska, County Laois this week.</h3>
<p>The federation, with support from Kerry County Council, hosted a &lsquo;Discover Kerry&rsquo; tent at the three day event that attracted in excess of 100,000 visitors from Tuesday to Thursday.</p>
<p>&ldquo;This is an opportunity to showcase our county&rsquo;s tourism offering under one roof and brand,&rdquo; said a federation statement.</p>
<p>&ldquo;We are hopeful that all Kerry tourism businesses and membership bodies will recognise the value of presenting a strong united proposition to [ploughing] attendees to visit, stay and spend in Kerry. The goal is to reinvigorate the appeal and give a taste of what Kerry has to offer to visitors in a coordinated and joint effort under the brand &lsquo;Discover Kerry&rsquo;.&rdquo;</p>
