Killarney

A young sporty local girl has progressed to the next step for the Munster Development Squad – the first female player from Killarney RFC to do so.
Transition Year student from St Brigid’s Presentation Secondary School, Kate Donoghue, was introduced to rugby during her PE class in TY and moved on to participate with Killarney RFC. Kate is the first female player to progress through this pathway through the club and school.
She will now train over the summer with the Munster squad U18 in preparation for the Inter Provisional competitions in late August. Her school this week congratulated her amazing achievement as well as Killarney RFC.
