<h3>There&#8217;s a new face at one local hotel and bringing her international experience in luxury travel, local tourism is set to benefit.</h3>
Jackie O’Brien has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Brehon and Angsana Spa.
Her experience in the luxury travel industry includes the renowned Hyatt Hotel Group, Canada, where she spent over 10 years, and more recently with Clayton Hotel Group.
In her new role, Jackie will lead The Brehon’s meetings, incentives, corporate, events and sales business whilst continuing to develop the hotel&#8217;s iconic brand.
“I am delighted to join the team at The Brehon and Angsana Spa, Killarney after spending the last 10 years working with Hyatt Hotels in Vancouver, Canada,” Jackie said.
A native of Co Mayo, Jackie is thrilled to be home selling Ireland as a destination and more importantly, Killarney.
“Killarney is such a beautiful place, and I am excited to work with the team here at The Brehon to get to know the locals and become part of the community.&#8221;
The Brehon &amp; Angsana Spa is located in close proximity to Killarney and adjoining Killarney National Park. The hotel boasts 125 guest rooms and is the perfect venue for meetings. The ballroom is 273 square metres and can accommodate a meeting for up to 250 delegates. The Brehon has two supporting meeting rooms and the Park Suite located on the fourth floor can accommodate up to 100 people. With an array of breakout spaces, the hotel can cater for all types of events, no matter how unique.
A range of dining and refreshment options are also available with menus reflective of the array of local, seasonal produce that is available in Killarney and Kerry; curated by an award winning team of chefs, led by Head Chef Chad Byrne.
