<h3>There was incredible talent at Saturday&#8217;s East Kerry Sc&oacute;r na n&Oacute;g held in Fossa.</h3>
Five clubs participated including Spa, Dr Crokes, Legion, Kilcummin and Glenflesk in six disciplines.
Glenflesk won four of the six items with Spa and Dr Crokes winning the dance competitions, East Kerry Sc&oacute;r Officer, Anne Holland, explained.
&#8220;The standard was extremely high,&#8221; she said.
&#8220;The club Sc&oacute;r officers helped out with the stewarding: Eileen Aherne (Spa), Rachel Foley (Dr Crokes), Maria O&#8217;Leary (Kilcummin), Caroline Cox (Legion) and Alison O&#8217;Sullivan (Glenflesk). Once again Killarney/Kenmare/Cahersiveen Credit Union are sponsoring East Kerry Sc&oacute;r.
&#8220;Mairead Brosnan was in attendance to present the medals. Dermot Coffey collected at the door and as usual came professionally organised with his change and own table.&#8221;
Billy Mangan of Fossa Hall helped set up the hall along with Erin Holland and Keith O&#8217;Sullivan.
&#8220;Gerard Mangan was the soundman and as always top class. Seamus Healy took his superb photos. It was lovely that his daughter Noirin won solo and ballad with Glenflesk.&#8221;
All the winners were present to collect their trophies and stayed in costume for the phot, she added.
&#8220;The judges were Katie McNamara (Solo, Ballad, Recitation and Music). Mary Philpott was the dancing adjudicator. Ellen O&#8217;Keeffe was a superb Bean An T&iacute; and kept the competition on schedule and was very professional. Gary O&#8217;Halloran was also on hand to present the medals and was a great help throughout the day. He even made the tea! Overall a successful Sc&oacute;r na n&Oacute;g and East Kerry is probably one of the strongest districts in Kerry.&#8221;
