Success

With stalls ranging from skin care to baubles, cosmetics to candles, jewellery to gin, the fair had it all.
Exhibitors filled every available space in the Fermoy Suite at the Muckross Road hotel, to set up a diverse array of products but most of all products that were locally produced and made. There was even mulled wine and mince pies setting the scene for all shoppers on arrival to ensure a truly cosy and festive atmosphere.
The fair itself, which took place on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, was a hit, with queues forming even before the doors were opened and when they did the hotel was buzzing with activity.
There was a constant and steady flow of people coming to do their festive shopping. People came out in large numbers, looking for those unique and quirky gifts. It was amazing to see such wonderful support for local businesses and producers.
Tom Randles owner of Randles Hotel, hailed the weekend a great success.
“The fair allowed shoppers the opportunity to browse some wonderful stalls all under one roof in a warm and welcoming space. It had something for everyone, whether you were looking to kick start your Christmas shopping or finish it, if you are one of the ultra-organised!”
Tom wishes to thank all the small local independent businesses that supported their first time fair, many of whom are already planning to return for the Randles 2023 instalment.
