<h3>Glenflesk GAA has thanked the people of the locality after they donated several bicycles and scooters to Ukrainian children in Killarney.</h3>
The club&rsquo;s Coiste na&rsquo;Og chairman Padraig O&rsquo;Sullivan organised a collection of unwanted bikes in the area after hearing that Ukrainian children were in need of such items.
After sending a number of requests via the club&rsquo;s WhatsApp group he received over 40 responses. He spent three evenings gathering three trailer loads of unwanted bikes, scooters, toy cars and tractors from local families and delivered them to various Ukrainian accommodations in the area.
This happened in early June but allowed Ukrainian children have a quality summer.
&ldquo;The Ukrainian families are very grateful for their generosity and how they helped the kids enjoy their summer in the park in Killarney,&rdquo; Padraig told the Killarney Advertiser.
