<h3>Killarney Garda will have an increased presence on the roads around Killarney this weekend.</h3>
They are concerned that a number of boy racers may attend the Killarney Historic Rally which is taking place today (Friday) and all day tomorrow (Saturday).
 Traditionally, this end of season event does not attract the unwanted element of boy racers that usually disrupt the Rally of the Lakes.
 However, the May Bank Holiday event was cancelled this year and Killarney Gardai are concerned that these non-genuine rally fans may attempt to disrupt this weekend&rsquo;s rally.
 &ldquo;We are putting extra resources on the roads this weekend,&rdquo; Superintendent Flor Murphy told the Killarney Advertiser. &ldquo;We want people to enjoy the rally, but we must also ensure that our roads are safe for all road-users.&rdquo;
 Superintendent Murphy said that they are expecting a very busy weekend in town. As well as the rally and associated events on Friday and Saturday, The Christmas in Killarney Festival gets underway tomorrow night (Saturday).
 Traffic is expected to be busy in the town centre throughout the weekend, and some streets and car parks will be closed off to accommodate all events.
 &ldquo;Get in early is the message,&rdquo; he added.
