<h3>Seven properties in Killarney were raided by the Garda Drug Squad in the early hours of last Saturday morning.</h3>
<h2>Quantities of cocaine and cannabis were discovered in four of the properties during the operation. One person was arrested and charged following the raid.</p>
<p> The seven properties included some in the town centre and more on the outskirts of town.</p>
<p> A garda dog, trained in the detection of drugs, was used in the search operation.</p>
<p> The coordinated operation targeted the sale and supply of illegal drugs in Killarney.</p>
<p> &ldquo;Gardai will continue to target young people involved in the sale of controlled drugs in the town,&rdquo; a Killarney Garda spokesperson told the Killarney Advertiser.</p>
<p> &ldquo;Saturday&rsquo;s raid is a clear statement of this intent.&rdquo;</h2>
