<h3>Gardai are investigating an act of vandalism which occurred&nbsp;yesterday evening (Monday) at Currow GAA grounds.</h3>
Club officials were left disgusted to discover that the door to their new gym was left severely damaged,&nbsp;not only with scratch marks but shoe&nbsp;prints, like someone tried to kick the door in.
&#8220;It is with a heavy heart that we at Currow GAA executive have to highlight an unfortunate incident that has come to our attention today,&#8221; club PRO Conor O&#8217;Leary said.&nbsp;
&#8220;After working extremely hard over the past two years to put gym facilities in place for our club, vandals struck&nbsp;severely damaging the entry door to our new gym.
&#8220;To say we are appalled and disappointed is an understatement after all the fundraising and help from our community over the last 24 months.&#8221;
Gardaí were notified immediately and are now investigating the matter, he added.
&#8220;New security measures will now be put in place and we would ask the public to contact any member of the Currow GAA executive if they see any suspicious persons or activity at Currow GAA grounds.&#8221;
