<h3>Michael Fassbender emerged unscathed from a massive motor racing crash on Wednesday evening.</h3>
The Fossa man is at Le Mans in France where he is preparing for the legendary 24-hour motor race that gets underway on Saturday.
The event&rsquo;s official qualifying session took place on Wednesday night but Fassbender was unable to complete the session after crashing his Porsche race car.
&ldquo;[The] Hollywood star lost the rear of his No. 93 [Porsche]&nbsp;under breaking and hit the barrier. Driver is okay, car damaged on the front,&rdquo; Tweeted Porsche Motorsport.
His team will have to work around the clock to get the car ready for Saturday&rsquo;s race. As the Killarney Advertiser closed for press on Thursday evening it was unclear if they would be successful.
Fassbender said its was a dream come true to race at Le Mans.
