<h3>It was an exciting night for members to get to know each other as Killarney Musical Society (KMS) launched &#8216;A Musical Journey&#8217; on Friday night.</h3>
Held in the Dromhall Hotel there was a great buzz of excitement in the air to come back together after three years.
 The variety show will be made up of all the favourite musicals tied together in a unique performance under director and the multi-award AIMS winner, Oliver Hurley and musical director Jimmy Brockie. The show will take place at the INEC over three dates on March 7, 8 and 9 2023.
 &#8220;The launch night was fantastic,&#8221; KMS PRO Linda O&#8217;Donoghue told the Killarney Advertiser.
 &#8220;Brid O&#8217;Callaghan our chairperson gave a lively thorough presentation which was enhanced by a slideshow &#8211; the handiwork of our multi-talented member Derek O&#8217;Leary. Our producer Oliver Hurley spoke about the friendship respect and enjoyment members can look forward to. We all have a love of music in common. Lucy O&#8217;Mahony our secretary said people lingered after presentations to talk and ask questions and get to know more.&#8221;
 Next up is auditions which are starting at 10am this Sunday. Registration will have closed and children and teens will have received five minute slots.
 &#8220;Committee member Sorcha O&#8217;Connor is extremely busy making sure video tracks of all audition options are available online for all those going for audition. She is also keeping our Facebook page up to date with information and photos.&#8221;
