<h3>Students from the Educational Training Board&rsquo;s Ecology course are cleaning the National Park bit by bit.</h3>
On Wednesday this week the group of students conducted a litter pick at Muckross House and Gardens. On Tuesday, (tomorrow), the group will move to Knockreer Demesne for another litter pick.
The students are all enrolled in the ETB&rsquo;s first Ecology course which started in September 2021 and will continue until June this year.
&ldquo;The aim is to make the area safer and more hospitable for the animals living there and to restore and improve habitats and biodiversity,&rdquo; said course leader Ed Carty. &ldquo;Every discarded item that is removed from the environment will be recycled. That means there is one less item for birds and animals to swallow.&rdquo;
Tuesday&rsquo;s Litter Pick will take place between 10am and 3pm.
