<h3>Killarney Valley Athletic Club&rsquo;s &lsquo;Couch to 5k&rsquo; is back and will get underway on January 10.</h3>
The eight-week programme encourages non-runners to be ready for the Killarney Park Run 5k on March 4.
The group will meet twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday, to prepare for the March event under the guidance of an experienced team of coaches and instructors.
&ldquo;The benefits of starting early in the year not only helps to shed those pounds but helps to release those endorphins also, which is a great help for your mental health,&rdquo; said Killarney Valley Athletic Club Chairman and Coach Jerry Griffin.
&ldquo;It is run by experienced team in a safe, welcoming and encouraging environment with a wonderful atmosphere also is guaranteed.&nbsp;The team look forward to meeting you all. In the meantime have a happy Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.&rdquo;
