<h3>Just two hurdles stand in the way of Kerry County Council affording a Civic Reception for Jessie Buckley.</h3>
<p>The Muckross native was nominated for an Oscar and a BAFTA as Best Supporting Actress following her performance in &lsquo;The Lost Daughter&rsquo;. She recently also received an Olivier Award for her part in London stage performance &#8216;Caberet&#8217;.</p>
<p> Mayor Marie Moloney is keen to recognise Buckley&rsquo;s achievements in her home town and has been pushing Kerry County Council to hold a Civic Reception in her honour.</p>
<p> &ldquo;There is no problem with the Civic Reception, they [Kerry County Council] have a backlog of receptions to do [following the pandemic] and they are looking at what is the best way to do them. My biggest problem is catching Jessie at home,&rdquo; Cllr Moloney told the Killarney Advertiser.</p>
