<h3>Who would have thought 12 months on, and after very successful vaccination programme we would be facing in to another Winter of restrictions.</h3>
<p> As a local news publication we get to talk to a lot of people and businesses over the course of the year and anecdotally speaking, the feeling out there at the moment is one of weariness.<br /> We are all aware the impact restrictions are having on our local economy, particularly on the hospitality sector that we are so reliant on from an employment perspective but also for the vibrancy of our town.</p>
<p> When we sat down at the start of the year we made a conscious effort to try and bring as many positive and uplifting stories to the community while still keeping people updated on the ever evolving challenges a global pandemic brings.</p>
<p> Christmas and the New Year is a time to reflect and take stock of all that is good in our lives and we hope that our loyal readers and customers will cherish the downtime with family and friends this holiday season, have a wonderful time from all at the Killarney Advertiser.</p>
