<h3>An innovative bunch made a good impression with their Christmas offerings during their annual Christmas market.</h3>
Transition Year and LCA students at St Brigid&#8217;s had everything from hot chocolates to waffles, Christmas cakes, cookies and crepes &#8211; the culinary options did not disappoint.
Products on offer included various items of jewellery, personalised tote bags and coffee mugs, scented candles, anxiety rings, handmade Christmas cards, journals of jokes and Spotify key rings. There were also some interesting services on offer including hair wrapping and a unique photo booth service.
Stephen Power from For&oacute;ige visited and was highly impressed with the innovation, work ethic and teamwork skills demonstrated by all of the students.
Superstar footballer David Clifford paid a visit and was presented with his own Fossa branded tote bag in exchange for a photo opportunity with the entrepreneurs. &lsquo;Relief Rings&rsquo; pitched David with the idea of having his own anxiety ring in pressure situations such as when he has to take a crucial penalty kick. On this occasion however, David noted that he had his own personal strategies for those moments.
Santa Claus even made a short pitstop on his way to the North Pole and all students told him that they had been well behaved this year with no school incident report forms!
Students will receive &euro;15 each for their efforts as part of the For&oacute;ige Youth Entrepreneurship Programme. Separately, each business will donate 10% of their profits to the Lions Club and students should be very proud of their efforts.
