<h3>Children left their worries behind them last week as a special workshop and story-time helped them to relax and express their feelings.</h3>
Katie O&#8217;Donoghue, Art Psychotherapist and author, visited the Junior and Senior Infants of M&uacute;intear Fiona&#8217;s Class, in Coolick National School, Kilcummin.
The 31 children participated in a therapeutic and creative &#8216;Little Squirrel&#8217; workshop.
Katie, an accredited Art Psychotherapist, and now author of &#8216;The Little Squirrel Who Worried&#8217;, facilitated an afternoon which incorporated storytelling and therapeutic creative exercises to help the children understand, express and manage their worries.
&#8220;The children were an absolute pleasure to meet and really engaged so well, sharing and expressing their worries with me, and their teachers,&#8221; Katie told the&nbsp;Killarney Advertiser.
&#8220;The visit to the school was an absolute joy and I am very grateful to the children, parents and teachers for having me in.&#8221;
In what has been a difficult year and a big change with the start and return to school this autumn, Katie hopes that the book can be used as a resource at home and in the classroom for children who may need some support.
