<h3>Management and staff at the Ballygarry Estate, Hotel and Spa are celebrating after being named the second-best hotel in Ireland following a Tripadvisor survey.</h3>
Each year Tripadvisor selects 25 out of 833 hotels in Ireland and ranks them by Travellers&#8217; Choice.
 The team at the four-star Tralee hotel were delighted to have been awarded number two in the country.
 &ldquo;We are thrilled with the news,&#8221; proprietor Padraig McGillicuddy said.
 &#8220;It really came at a fantastic time for us, after transitioning into an estate property we were both excited and nervous to share all of our planning and hard work with our guests in the hopes that they would reap the rewards.
 &ldquo;This award really speaks volumes for the Ballygarry team as our staff truly are the greatest credit to the hotel. Each day they go above and beyond to enhance the overall guest experience and I am so proud to see that all of the hard work is starting to pay off.&rdquo;
 This award comes shortly after Ballygarry&rsquo;s recent transition into an estate property with sustainability at the core of the project. Their transition saw the extension of their grounds to one hundred acres and has seen the hotel build an apiary, an insect hotel and an integrated wetlands over the last number of months. The wetlands will treat all waste water from the hotel and will also attract new wildlife.
 In addition to this, the hotel has also built an on-site wedding ceremony called &lsquo;The Lodge&rsquo; to complement their current wedding offering and will also have a focus on destination weddings. One of the final pieces of this very exciting development will see N&aacute;d&uacute;r Spa add a new world-class thermal garden, planned for the 2023 season.
