Ireland's oldest National Park. It comprises over 25,000 acres, including the world-famous Lakes of Killarney and the mountains and woodlands that surround them. It is notable for its flora and fauna, such as the native oakwoods and yew, as well as Ireland’s only herd of native red deer. For most visitors, the focal point of the park is Muckross House and Gardens.
