Deenagh Lodge

Picturesque Deenagh Lodge, a cottage orné gate lodge from 1834, is operated as a tea-room during the summer months by Down Syndrome Ireland. The view opens out here as the park sweeps down to Lough Leane, with Shehy and Tomies Mountains in the background. There are several fine walks in the Demesne, which was part of the lands of the Earl of Kenmare.
