Welcome to Waterford Airport, the only airport located in the South East of Ireland! Our airport plays an important role in the region by providing essential aviation facilities to various local and visiting organizations. We are proud to facilitate Irish Coastguard helicopter search and rescue operations, corporate aircraft for local and international businesses, and the Irish Aer Corp conducting maritime patrols and training. Waterford Airport is also a popular location for pleasure flying, with a keen interest in general aviation. We welcome those involved in pleasure flying to drop by for a cuppa and even offer helicopter pleasure flights. We also have regular interactions with ballooning enthusiasts. Our airport is a welcoming, aviation-friendly environment and we take pride in providing a range of aviation facilities to support the South East region. The Garda airborne support unit is just one of the many organizations that we are delighted to serve. We also have a vibrant Waterford Aero Club and host various visiting flight training organizations.
