We are one of the largest community based credit unions in Ireland, serving the needs of more than 67,500 member-owners and their communities. Our official registered Credit Union name remains; St. Canice’s Kilkenny Credit Union Ltd. Our primary purpose is to promote thrift amongst our members and by the accumulation of savings we create a source of credit at fair and reasonable rates of interest for our members. Income charged on loans, investment income and other investment income provide for the day to day expenses and necessary reserves.
